DIPLOMA IN APPLIED DATA ANALYTICS PROGRAM

THE EXECUTIVE DIPLOMA IN APPLIED DATA ANALYTICS is a practical-oriented post-grad program designed to equip professionals with the  skills needed to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data using different computer applications for data analysis. These tools include, Advanced Excel, Microsoft Power Tools, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, etc. Students will comprehensively learn types of Data, Data sources, data mining, how to get Data, Data transformation, Predictive data modeling, Data manipulation, statistical analysis, machine learning, Data visualization & Reporting as well as Software as a Service (SaaS).THIS ONE-YEAR INTENSIVE PRACTICAL PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO EQUIP STUDENTS WITH IMPORTANT SKILLS SUCH AS:

  • Data-driven decision making
  • Problem solving skills,
  • Effective communication skills in communicating insights and findings.
  • Technical skills in the use of data analytics computer tools

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

At Least a Diploma or Degree in Data Science, Financial Engineering, Accounting,Finance, Business Admin, IT, or related.

LECTURES / CLASSES

Lectures are contacted during weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) at the ZICA Campus. Online classes are specifically designed for out of Harare and out of Zimbabwe Students who can-not attend Weekend physical Lectures. Classes are facilitated by our qualified, skilled and well experienced lecturers.

EXEMPTIONS

Exemptions will be granted on a subject-by-subject basis to holders of recognised qualifications.

EXAMINATIONS

There are three examinations per year (April, August & December). Classes runs for two and a half months leading to examinations. Pre-Exam Course-work constitutes 20% of the Final Exam Mark.

AEM3102: Advanced Excel in Finance Management
MPT3103: Microsoft Power Tools in Data Analytics
PBI3104: Data Analytics with Power BI Desktop

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL 2

FPM3201: Financial Predictive Modeling
DAT3202: Data Analytics with Tableau
ACA3203: Computerised Accounting as a source of Data
PBI3204: Power BI Mobile and Service as a Software (SaaS)

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL 3

DAP3301: Python for Data AnalyticsB
DAR3302: Data Analytics with R
DAS3303: Data Wrangling with SQL

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL 4

CSP3401: Data Analytics Capstone Project
STUDENTS will work on a comprehensive project that demonstrates their ability to apply data analytics concepts to real-world problems.

FEES STRUCTURE

1.Registration Fees $50.00 (Payable upon Registration)
2.Tuition Fees $150.00 per Module
NOTE:
Tuition Fees covers – Tuition, Examinations, Software installations etc.
At least 50% of total registered modules fees should be paid and balance can be staggered in 2 monthly instalments.
